The panorama photos are shot using an analog 6x17cm roll film camera. Due to the large camera format, the prints can be enlarged up to a width of 3m. The 12 colour fine art prints are individually produced and then laminated behind plexiglass, on an aluminium-dibond plate, as shown in the video below. All steps are done by the best specialists available.
Each motive is limited to 25 examples and is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity including the print number and further information. This is mounted on the rear of the print. A robust aluminum frame is mounted on the rear of the print for stabilisation and to facilitate hanging the work.
The creative craftsmanship of lamination is only practised by a few specialists, Philipp Hympendahl works only with the best and not with the cheapest. Size and transportation/shipping costs are individually agreed on ordering.
